Hello

We hope that you are keeping well and staying safe. It's been a slog, but there's light at the end of the tunnel!

150 YEAR ANNIVERSARY - LOOK WHAT HAPPENED THIS MONTH!
So much has been happening that we're still catching our breath!

During February, our very own David Darlington managed to impress everyone on #fancydressfriday as Fred Flintstone  and Super Mario, and on #WearRedDay as Superman;

Meanwhile, Matthew, the Fieldings Porter panda, has been busy too...

• He donated 150 books to Bury Hospice in honour of National Book Giving Day;

• He delivered pancake 🥞 making items to the families at Fortalice, and a sizeable pile of men’s and women’s clothing and suitable shoes/hats to Mustard Tree;

• As part of Random Acts Of Kindess Day every member of staff found a chocolate bar on their desk left by Matthew. All staff were also entered into a draw, where 3 winners were chosen to nominate a charity to receive a donation of £25 🐼;

• Matthew and Laura Leech delivered women’s and children’s clothes and shoes to Bolton Nice;

• Matthew and David Darlington dropped off a big box of toys for Bury Hospice;
• He donated and delivered Whiskas UK cat food to Kitty Rescue Bury to support love your pet day;

Our 'Work from Home Photo Competition' was a fantastic success! We were delighted to raise £92.25 which will be matched by our Partners and donated to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary.

See the pics and read the whole story on our 150th Anniversary Facebook page!

How long have you worked for Fieldings Porter?
I joined the firm in September 2020

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy the varied caseload that I deal with and assisting clients with their legal problems.

What’s the highlight of your career to date?
The highlight of my career so far is qualifying as a solicitor in 2017.

If you weren’t a solicitor what would you be doing
If I could have done anything it would have been a professional football player.

Outside of work I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

What is your favourite book?

I’m not a big reader in my spare time and I just read the odd autobiography.

A nice place to visit is Salford Quays in Manchester. You also get the added bonus of being able to see (and visit if you want to) Old Trafford!
