Over the course of this year, the team will be undertaking a series of challenges and events for

The mix of management of our super staff, helping keep all the many cogs within the business going and of course helping clients with their legal problems.
What’s the highlight of your career to date?
There have been a number but when I was a crown court advocate, having the prosecution drop their case after my cross examination in my first jury trial sticks in the memory.
I think I promptly lost the next few trials before obtaining not guilty verdicts in others.
Now every time a clinical negligence settlement is achieved, with which my client and I are content, also counts as a highlight.
If you weren’t a solicitor what would you be doing?
If I could have done anything it would have been a professional French horn player, but my scales were never up to it…
I often think about whether I could have gone into the (murky) world of advertising.
When you’re not working, we’d be most likely to find you?
Presently at home, but post-lockdown, renewing all the parts of a busy family life with an 11 and 9 year old in tow.
What is your favourite book?
My website profile says ‘A Confederacy of Dunces’ by John Kennedy Toole which I read years ago and is a great and bonkers book.
More recently those by Jonas Jonasson are fantastic and I highly recommend them.
Recommend a place to visit in Manchester/Bolton
Currently (and when we can again) to play and see concerts at the Victoria Hall in Bolton and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
In years gone by it would have been watching the Wanderers on the Manchester Road terrace at Burnden Park.
