Hello The festive season is nearly upon us, so all of the team at Fieldings Porter would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy New Year. 2020 also sees the firm enter its 149th year.
No legal updates in this issue, but we would like to highlight some of the
community and charity events we've had the pleasure of being part of this year.
On 14 December we had our annual charity Christmas Carol Concert at Bolton Parish Church. A definite success with over 80 people attending. The concert was in aid of our Charity of The Year, Endeavour. You can view a video of our tuneful voices here.
Also in aid of Endeavour was a charity leg waxing held at our Bolton office. Below is a photo of just a small proportion of the pet food and supplies which we have donated during the year.
So far this year we have raised over £1,700 for Endeavour and we will be donating double the end of year total to the Charity. See press and social media in due course for the final donated amount.
2019 also saw a number of new starters at the firm too. We wish them all well in their new posts.
Retiring
Jane Nicholls
After over 30 years in practice, the last 12 of which have been spent at Fieldings Porter, Jane is taking well-earned retirement this month.
We would like to thank Jane for all her hard work over the years and wish her a very happy retirement.
Solicitor Advocate, representing private and publicly funded clients in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and the Youth Court and attending police stations. Prosecution work on behalf of the Health & Safety Executive.
