How long have you worked for Fieldings Porter?
24 years and 29 years at Porter Hope and Knipe before we merged.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
The clients and the people I work with.

What’s the highlight of your career to date?
Being appointed a Judge in the Tax Tribunal having been the Clerk to the Commissioners since 1985 and a VAT chairman from 1992.

If you weren’t a Solicitor what would you be doing?
I would be a builder having built a double garage, 60 foot 5-foot-high dry-stone wall, a greenhouse and 7 raised beds and constructed kitchens, bathrooms, staircases with general building work on several terraced houses.

When you’re not working where would we be most likely to find you?
In the garden, walking, playing golf or bridge.

What is your favourite book?
